A general strike was held in Greece last week. Thousands of people took to the streets to demonstrate against the new labor law. The law includes that instead of 40 working hours per week 50 hours are allowed. The masses are rightly angry and carry their anger on the streets.
One woman said about the planned law: "The planned reform is against working mothers. How can one work and be a mother at the same time if these flexible working hours are introduced? This is at the expense of our mental and physical health."
The strike shows that the worker's are not silently accepting the reform, which is only in the service of the capitalists. The workers react with struggle measures to prevent the reform.
