The third of October is the day of "German unity". The bourgeoisie and its best representatives celebrate on this day the fall of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) and hold high the imperialist German unity.
Especially in the East in Germany, the former GDR, you still do not notice a lot of that "unity". They have the lowest wages and the highest unemployment rate, which are only two examples that clearly show that this unity is only for the German bourgeoisie but not for the masses.
More and more this day is used by the German bourgeoisie to make a big spectacle out of it. This year there was also a military parade where afterwards the returned soldiers from Afghanistan got a tribute from the "Mutti" herself.
Revolutionary parts of the German proletariat oppose this bourgeois unity and fight for the proletarian unity in Germany. They made actions in different cities on the occasion of this imperialist holiday and clearly distinguish themselves from the FRG.
