Last weekend, on September 19th, a demonstration took place in Austria/Vienna under the slogan: "We are not paying for your crisis!
Banners directed against mass dismissals and closures of production plants were supported. Demands were made for an increase in unemployment benefits and for a reduction in working hours with full wage and personnel compensation. The war-mongering and repression that is being carried out through the EU was also rightly denounced in a speech. The slogan was adopted with many voices: "Rebellion is justified!"
