Eternal glory to Chairman Gonzalo!
On September 11, Dr. Abimael Guzmán Reynoso, Chairman Gonzalo, was assassinated by the Peruvian state with the help of the CIA after 29 years of isolated detention and torture. We therefore call on all communist, revolutionary and democratic organizations and individuals to hold a commemorative demonstration on December 4. Let us raise shoulder to shoulder the red banner of Chairman Gonzalo and together powerfully express: Chairman Gonzalo is immortal!
Even in the most difficult hours, Chairman Gonzalo could not be broken. Even in his death, he brought defeat to U.S. imperialism with its representative Biden and their puppets like Castillo and Miriam, transforming the maximum security prison of Callao into a shining trench of struggle. He is representative of all political prisoners maltreated, tortured and murdered by imperialism, and the memory of Chairman Gonzalo is at the same time the defense of the rights of hundreds and thousands of heroes of the people in the dungeons of reaction. We call on all revolutionary, anti-imperialist and democratic forces to send a powerful signal on December 4, 2021 for the recognition of Chairman Gonzalo as a political prisoner and prisoner of war, and to demand the immediate return of his body and a dignified burial: Justice for Chairman Gonzalo!
Until the end, Chairman Gonzalo put his entire life at the service of the liberation of the proletariat and the oppressed peoples and nations from imperialism, exploitation and oppression. When the rulers of the world spoke of the "end of history" and many communists and revolutionaries around the world were in confusion, Chairman Gonzalo held the red flag high. As Chairman of the Communist Party of Peru, leader of the Revolution and the People's War, he became a role model and point of reference for the poorest and most oppressed sectors of the people. His work powerfully confirmed the vitality and validity of the proletarian ideology: Let us uphold the legacy of Chairman Gonzalo!
From India to Brazil, from Tunisia to Ireland, the communists and revolutionaries of the world are defending the life and memory of Chairman Gonzalo in demonstrations and actions. On December 4, let us make a strong sign of internationalism and raise the big red banner of Chairman Gonzalo high and let it live on in our deeds!
