Dozens of colleagues in Austria followed the call to support the independent Bulgarian trade union of medical personnel, SBMS! The call of the "International Workers' Aid" received active support from various revolutionary, anti-fascist, feminist and trade union forces, as well as from workers in the different branches and could be implemented successfully. Disinfection protection for the colleagues in Bulgaria was collected and produced to the value of 600 Euro!
Contrary to liberal "NGO" projects, this action was by no means carried out to consolidate or deepen the inequality between imperialist and oppressed countries. This activities strengthened the internationalist spirit of the working class and gave even stronger connection betwenn worders of different countries. The example of the International Workers' Aid Austria/Bulgaria is an important example of international unity and solidarity, of the common, international struggle of the workers.
Through this initiative a correct answer was given to the crisis of capitalism, to the anti-labour and anti-people measures of the governments against the pandemic, to the plundering by imperialism!
Long live the international solidarity of the workers!
