The national elections on 29th of september in Austria were used by progressive and revolutionary forces to express the strong rejection towards the election-spectacle by supporting the active election boycott campaign. A lot of action and activities have been made in various cities. In the report of the "Antifascist Action", an Austrian antifascist newspaper, is said, that expecially migrants, workers and young people supported the election boycott, because the parliament does not represent the interests of the people. The opposite: the politics of the ruling class doesn't change after the election, it doesn't change basically with another colour of the party, because its the interests of the capital, which lies behind the policy of the bourgeois parliament, not the "voters choice". A very successful result of this campaign was also the support of migrant organisations and cultural activists of the active boycott campaign.
