MOZAMBIQUE - More than 1000 feared dead after cyclone

Cyclone "Idai" brought winds up to 106mph in the port city of Beira. Hundreds of people are still missing and more than 1.5 million are affected. The Red Cross announced that about 90% of the City of Beira, with 500.000 inhabitants, has been destroyed.

Roads got damaged, so people can not be reached. After the cyclone reached Mozambique it then moved inland spreading heavy winds and rainfall to Zimbabwe and Malawi. The region of Mozambique is often affected by heavy rains and natural catastrophes. It is the imperialists, who make a lot of profit out of suppressed countries like Mozabique, from the cheap labour force and the ressources - it should be also them, to pay for the damaged houses for the peoples!
