Until the 31 of january nearly 4000 workers in the car industry in Hungury, Györ, striked. The strike lasted for one week and the workers demanded far higher wages from the capitalists. The strike also affected the "Mother"-company in germany, Audi, which had to stop the normal production because of the strike in Hungary. The workers were successful and reached an encreasing of the wages for 18 percent.
The strike of the Hungarian workers showed clearly that the workers demands will be fullfilled if they are willingly to struggle. It also showd the imperialist oppression of the workers in Hungary which are struggling against German monopoly capital. But they could not only hit the local puppets of Audi with their strike, they also hit the German imperialist capital!
