BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - A leader of the mass protests is being held by police

Davor Dragicevic is one of the leader of the mass protests for „Justice for David“ in the city of Banja Luka. His son David was murdered on March 24th, 2018, found in a sewer with countless wounds. So far the police have lied about him being a drug addicted and committing a robbery the night before his death. They also gave contradictory statements about his death like a cause of death, that was later proven to be wrong.

Since March 2018, Dragicevic and hundreds, up to thousands of people protest every day in Banja Luka for justice and more and more against the government and state corruption. Dragicevic claims David was murdered by the security forces of the Republika Srpska government. Now, on December 25th Dragicevic was arrested, along with 19 other activists, like Davids mother Suzana Radanovic and two lawyers called Stanivukovic and Borenovic. Reportedly. Up to 10 people lost their jobs because of their participation in the protests.

Dragicevic was arrested for being a danger to safety, disorderly conduct, illegal demonstrations in front of the parliament and threats against the secretary of the interior Lukac and the Serbian representative in the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who stands in contact with the former Trump strategist Steve Bannon and the fascist Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ).

After the arrests thousands of people demonstrated for their freedom and against the corruption inside of the government and police. Now, on January 2nd, an arrest warrant was filed against him for the crimes he was accused of the first time he was arrested.

The government is rightly afraid of the wrath of the masses: It is right to rebel!
