The so called „Thursday Demonstrations“ have a history in the recent antifascist struggle in Austria. Since a few weeks they got a revival and every week thausands of protestors join the demonstrations against the government in Vienna. Broad parts of the population join this demonstrations and show their anger and justified rebellion against the antidemocratic, repressive and also in parts open fascist politics of the government. Especially the consequent antifascist and revolutionary forces forwarded the demonstrations to an active and struggling expression and showed that the antifascist forces should trust in their own force.
