100,000 pensioners went to the streets in Spain on March 17 to demonstrate for higher pensions. The government has "increased" the pensions by only 0.25 percent for the coming year. But life support costs were increased by 2 percent. But by 2020, the National Police salaries will increase by 600 euros and the paramilitary Guardia Civil 700 euros.
