INDIA - News on People‘s War

While India is hit heavily by the current sharpening of the general crisis of capitalism, that is catalyzed by the ongoing Corona-Pandemic, the Communist Party of India (Maoist) has not gone inactive but on the contrairy has made successful operations also in October.

Cadres of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) set ablaze around 10 vehicles of a private company involved in a road construction work in Jharkhand late on October 19, as the Indian bourgeois media reports. During the incident four poclain, one JCB five, one motorcycle and four other vehicles belonging to MS Construction, one of the companies, involved in road construction in West Singhbhum, have been reduced to ashes.

Actions like this, against the forcful displacement of the people and destruction of nature through construction and mining companies, that are mostly owned by imperialist monopolies, are of great importance in the struggle for national liberation.

On October 24, a District Reserve Guard (DRG) trooper was killed and two others were injured in an exchange of fire with the cadres of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) in the forested terrain of Orchha in Narayanpur District of Chhattisgarh.

Also, on October 30, a constable from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by CPI (Maoist) cadres near Kohkametta Police Station in Narayanpur District, also in Chhattisgarh.

It was also reported, that the PLGA (People's Liberation Guerilla Army) fighters are now using drones to fly them near security posts in sensitive south Gadchiroli, that is bordering to Chhattisgarh, to keep the Security Forces (SFs) distracted while their senior cadres crossed through the region.

With these news of the development of the revolutionary movement, it comes to no surprise, that the old Indian state representatives are planning anti-CPI(Maoist) operations in the Maoist‘s stronghold of Chhattisgarh, „in collaboration with five neighboring States — Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand — and West Bengal, to tighten the noose around insurgents who strike in one State and escape to another“, as the Times of India reported on October 14th.

The CPI(Maoist) is deeply rooted within the oppressed masses in many regions and states in India, and no blow dealt to it by the old state, while it may delay it, will be able to extinguish it. This is further underlined by the attack on October 30th, where two police personnel were critically injured in an ambush by activists of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) outfit in Lohardaga District of Jharkhand.

This is why the old Indian state is trying to use the methode of sabotage and encirclement : In a note circulated to the media, the Maoists have claimed responsibility for 25 killings in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh. The note, issued by CPI (Maoist)’s ‘Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC)’, reported to have killed 12 ‘gopaniya sainik’ or surrendered cadres deployed by the Police in villages; five ‘coverts’ or active cadres working for the Police; and eight alleged ‘Police informers’.

Also, on the heinous rumors spread by the Old Indian state, the CPI(Maoist) responded: “The information the Police are spreading about infighting is completely bogus. All 25 people were killed because they were working for the Police and were sentenced to death in ‘jan adalats’”, Those courts represent a new form of democracy against the old semi-feudal order, that are part of the „revolutionary people‘s committees“ RPC, the new power that the struggling peopple under the leadership of CPI(Maoist) are building against the Imperialist world order.

Long live the Communist Party of India (Maoist)!

Long live the People‘s Liberation Guerrilla Army!

Support the People‘s War in India!
