INDIA - News on People’s War

The official media in October was full of news about cadres who surrender, about the so called “crimes” of the Maoists and about the killing of Maoist cadres, trying hard to justify the imperialist and fascist terror and war on people and on the same time trying hard to demoralized the justified struggle against them.

That kind of news are part of the war against the people, it’s part to fight the Maoists with all kind of weapons the enemy can find, its part of the fascist methods of “Hearts and Minds”. While the progress of the new democratic revolution under the great leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) is rising and getting more strength, the imperialist and the old fascist Indian state is intensifying the war against the revolution and the people.

Also in October the comprehensive crime statistics was released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) for 2017. Saying that Chhattisgarh continues to be the hardest hit Indian State by so called “violence and crime” unleashed by the CPI (Maoist). The report covering various categories of crimes by so called “Anti-National Elements” revealed that 652 offences were committed by the Maoists. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in its Annual Report for 2018-19 said, the CPI (Maoist) continues to be the most potent among various Left Wing Extremist outfits in the country and responsible for more than 88 per cent of the total violent incidents and resultant deaths.

On 24th of October the police forces of the reaction launched a huge attack against the Maosist, a combing operation of four police stations. There have been an intense gun battle. The forces of the CPI (Maoist) slipped into the forces. Their camp was taken by reaction. The official media reported, that material was found in huge quantity.

On 25th of October cadres of the CPI (Maoist) set ablaze a road roller and two tractors including a water tanker at Chamarua village. According to reports the vehicles belonged to a construction company and were engaged in road construction work under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

Also on that date the cadres of CPI (Maoist) enforce a 24-hour bandh (militant strike) call in Kandhamal District of Odisha. The Maoists blocked the stretches connecting Daringbadi – Baliguda and Gopalpur – Raipur by felling logs on the road. A banner was put up, calling for the struggle against the rulers and against the anti-Maoist operation in Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
