The mass protests in Lebanon, that were sparked by the planned new phone bill, soon turned to much wider issues like the unemployment rate, that is 37% for those under an age of 35 years. In general the protests soon turned out to be directed against the government.
Rising prices for everyday commodities were a spark for many protests in recent times, like the yellow vests in France. The justified struggle of the masses in Lebanon against exploitation and oppression will surely be victorious, if it accepts the direction against the imperialist rules!
Long live international solidarity!
It's right to rebel!
