The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has reportedly put up posters in the state of Odisha, urging the students to boycott the upcoming students‘ union poll. The posters have surfaced on the 13th of August in Nilgiri College in Odisha’s Balasore district.
The CPI(Maoist) is calling upon the students to boycott the elections of the old bureaucratic Indian state, because like the state as a whole, the elections are in the hand of the imperialists. All anti-imperialist and democratic students need to hear this call, because the elections are of no more use for the imperialists than to create the illusion of democracy under imperialist oppression.
