INDIA - CPI (Maoist) regains strength in Kerala-Karnataka-Tamil Nadu region

CPI (Maoist) regains strength and influence in the Kerala-Karnataka-Tamil Nadu Region. The Kerala and Karnataka Police say that there has been a strong Maoist resurgence in the Kerala-Karnataka-Tamil Nadu (KKT) region. After a stoppage of nearly 12 years, following the killing of Saketh, a state committee member of the CPI (Maoist), the party is regaining strength in the region!

“To strengthen themselves, they are planning to develop morally, militarily and their organization capabilities. They are planning to train uneducated cadres by giving them both tactical and political education,” an report by „Mint“ said. The police declared “that the group had planted landmines around their camp near the Mancheeri Tribal Colony, in an apparent bid to prevent police raids. A group of armed cadres had also warned the Mancheeri Colony residents of landmines and had asked them not to enter their camp area.”

We also want to document the follwing "News on the People's War in India":

There is information on the press that a new ambush of the People´s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) against the repressive forces in Jharkhand was made at 5:30 am on July 12, while units of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were on patrol in the forest near the village of Dalapani, in the district of East Singhbhum. The repressive forces were on patrol allegedly because of being warned of the presence of a column of the PLGA in this borderland with the state of Bengal. The repressive forces were under fire by automatic guns and one member of the CRPF was shot in the head. There are no news of casualties in the revolutionary forces.

Also in July 10 5 am in the district of Kanker, Chhattisgarh, there was a report of the PTI agency that the Border Security Force agents who were on patrol suffered explosion attack. They were on a anti-guerrilla operation in the forest near the village of Tadbaul. They were mortally wounded and died in the retreat.

In Dantewada on July 8, there was a report by the PTI agency that there was an encounter between units of the PLGA and the repressive forces of the DRG in a forest zone in the district of Dantewada in the state of Chhattisgarh. According to information of the police there was one police officer wounded and three red combatants would have fallen. This could be a new “false encounter” and the revolutionary could have been murdered in cold blood, a usual practice of the repressive forces. It happened in the forest of Katekalyan near the people of Pedababba, 450 km from the capital Raipur, an area that is considered to be a strong base area of the maoists
