The big demonetisation campaign in India, with one of the official main goals being to give a blow to the Communist Party of India (maoist) by making the big banknotes worthless proved to not affect the comrades. As the bourgeois indian media reports, the police confirmed that they found at least 20 pages of handwritten accounts, spanning several years, were recovered after the encounter in the jungles of Abujhmaad in Narayanpur District in Chhattisgarh on the 7th of November. These documents show, that this Janatana Sarkar (translates to “local government”) of Nelnar exchanged money worth 200.000 INR (Indian Rupees) in 500INR and 1000INR bills (which were demonetised), for example in one case it states: “Note bandi ke dauran 2 lakh jama kiya manta (Deposited 200.000 during note ban).” A special agent for the war against the people (or how the bourgeois Indian media calls them: Anti-Naxal Operations) admits, that “they would have exchanged some notes, and have an ecosystem that supports them in the region”, but claims the stated above is not true, because he does “feel that demonetisation affected their operations”. A local police officer states though: “Maoist organisation, from the special zonal committee to the Janatana Sarkar, has separate accounts and would have exchanged their notes. We cannot even begin to quantify the amount”. Narayanpur District in Chhattisgarh has as many as 91 operational Janatana Sarkars, according to Police records.
In other news, the Indian government again set a date for when they finally end the “Naxalite problem”. This time it is Jharkhand Chief Minister, Raghubar Das, speaking at the India Today Conclave 2017 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Heclaims that the state will be "Naxalism-free" in 2018. He further said the Police have cracked down on those funding the “Naxal terror”. As a result, many “Naxalites” have surrendered, he said. Here he probably believes the more-than-once debunkedlies of the Indian police forces on “surrendered Maoists”. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh also claims, that the “Naxal rebellion” in Chhattisgarh is at its end and the Red Corridor will become a “green corridor”. He claims that Infrastructure like schools and roads are being rebuilt whenever they have been destroyed. To prove this point, the bourgeois Indian media in the same report mentions the recently lost 12 security personnel, which were trying to build a stretch of road. The comrades in India show in several actions how ridiculous claims like these are. In these days the PLGA (People’s Liberation Guerilla Army) Week take place (2-8th of December) and many districts in India reported posters of the comrades mobilising for them. In this article, we focus on actions done in the last weeks before PLGA-Week. On the 20th of November, a defuse specialist and another cop were killed as well as three others injured when a bomb they tried to defuse exploded. This took place in Giridih in Jharkand. The same day, a forest official in Kaimur district in Bihar was taken into custody by members of the PLGA. Also a camp of a construction company in Shivpur in the same state was attacked and a machine set on fire. The workers of the canalisation project had been warned by peasants, whose land had been taken for this project. A day later, a snitch was killed in Jhadapapda in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra. The snitch allegedly used to be a supporter of the CPI (maoist) but helped the police and was warned several times by the party. On the 22nd of November, several IED (improvised explosive device) were defused by a special unit in Gajapati in Odisha. A day later, 30 more IED were defused in Latehar in Jharkhand. They were found when a special unit rushed to a place where the PLGA set a tractor of construction site of a watch tower in flames. Still on November 22nd, another Tractor was burned in Latehar which was used to provide logistics for the security forces. In Gadchiroli in Maharashtra a police informer was killed. He was taken of his house after he informed the police about movements of the comrades. A banner was hoist in his village declaring his actions as police informer. On 24th of November, a base camp for the construction of a gas pipeline was attacked and four vehicles set ablaze in Gaya in Bihar. Three of the vehicles were trucks. On this day a police officer was killed and a female police officer injured when an IED exploded in Gadchiroli. The action allegedly took place on a crowded market, where the device was triggered just as the two were close. November the 25th a construction site of a railway line in Kanker in Chhattisgarh was attacked, four trucks burned down and the son of the contractor taken by the PLGA. He was later found dead in a nearby forest. The comrades oppose this project from its beginning. In Bhadradr Kothagudem in Telangana, a police informer was killed on November 26th. The comrades left behind letters in Telgu and Hindi with warnings for police informers. Also on this day, a member of the police was killed as well as two others injured in two encounters with the PLGA. This took place in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra and the police was in a joint anti-maoist operation with the Maharashtra police. The 27th of November a police informer was killed in Charla in Chhattisgarh. There were also two encounters in Gadchiroli that left one police dead and two others wounded. On November 29th, a policeman was injured by an IED that was triggered in Sukma in Chhattisgarh. This also happened within an anti-maoist operation.
