WEST PAPUA - Indigenous seal off their country

In West Papua, indigenous peoples cordon off their territories for fear of the introduction of the corona virus into their villages.

They blocked roads and put up barriers on their own to prevent strangers from entering their country. If the Corona virus spreads in their country, this would have devastating consequences for the tribes, because there is no health care for indigenous people. Because in West Papua there are only 5 hospitals that are equipped for the treatment of corona patients and only 60 ventilators! The West Papua people have stood for the independence of West Papua in the struggle against Indonesia for decades.

The struggle for national liberation is justified!
