On 26th of February in Porto Alegre a protest in defense of the rights of the indigenous people took place. The protests were against the attacks and threats of eviction promoted by the Brazilian state against the Guarani Mbya tribe, who lives on the Arado Velho farm, which was resumed in 2018.
Activists reported that police officers from the military brigade appeared at the beginning of the demonstration and photographed the faces of several demonstrators to intimidate them.
