PHILIPPINES – Duterte plans offensive against the People’s war - “kill them all”

The Filipino ruling class started a new offensive against the People’s War. The Filipino states leader Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the military and police forces to “finish off” and “kill” all communist rebels in the country.

“I’ve told the military and the police, that if they find themselves in an armed encounter with the communist rebels, kill them, make sure you really kill them, and finish them off if they are alive,” Duterte said on Friday, as he addressed a government meeting aimed at “countering communism”.

“Forget about human rights. That’s my order.” and “You are all bandits. You have no ideology. Even China and Russia are all capitalists now.” This seems to be the justification for the Filipino reactionaries to sell out the country to the Russian imperialists and the Chinese social-imperialists, while still selling the Filipino working forces – the cheapest in south-east Asia to US financial capital to exploit. While making false promises of “jobs, housing and livelihood” if they gave up arms, Duterte is openly announcing this even more violent and aggressive crackdown against progressives and intellectuals.

Duterte says that he “does not understand” what the Communist Party of the Philippines is fighting for. For the freedom of imperialist oppression and exploitation, against feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism, Dutertes onslaugth will only bring more resolute struggle against all reactionary attacks.
